Influencia de la Forma del Electrodo en la Resistencia Final de un Sistema de Puesta a Tierra.

El presente trabajo analiza la influencia de la forma del electrodo en la resistencia final de un sistema de puesta a tierra. Para el análisis se ha realizado un estudio analítico en el cual se determina la formulación matemática que permite calcular la resistencia final de un sistema de puesta a tierra con diferentes formas de electrodo, adicionalmente se han realizado pruebas de campo que muestren que permiten contrastar las conclusiones teóricas determinadas por el estudio analítico. Las pruebas de campo así como el estudio analítico se las realizo en las instalaciones del IST. Central Técnico y se utilizaron inicialmente tres formas de electrodo, varilla, cilindro y en forma de cubo. Se procuró que cada uno de estos modelos tenga la misma área de contacto con la tierra así como el mismo medio para poder evaluar la influencia de cada uno en la resistencia final del sistema. Los resultados muestran que la variación del modelo de electrodo si influye en la resistencia final del sistema de puesta a tierra siendo el más favorable el modelo de tipo varilla antes que los otros modelos analizados.
