Influence of the Greatwall automotive brand in the Ecuadorian automotive fleet: review

Abstract

This research aims to demonstrate the importance of the China GreatWall brand of vehicles in the Ecuadorian market, since there is a taboo in buyers and residents, which relates that vehicles of Chinese origin are of poor quality, and in this GreatWall group is not the exception, through analysis of sales in the different vehicle categories, with sales values in the market, analysis of after-sales service, stock of spare parts by the brand, interviews with experts and users who have direct contact with these types of vehicles; with which it is possible to determine the positive influence of these automotive, taking into account additionally, by comparison, that their acquisition values are lower in each of the categories, being in cars their C30 model with a cost 11% lower than rival more close, for the SUV category the H6 and Pick Up the Wingle 5 with values of 13.34% and 23.54% respectively lower than its main competitor, for this reason it is ranked number 4 nationally in sales, surpassing world powers Toyota and Nissan; whereby the GreatWall brand becomes a reliable brand for consumers with great benefits and performance, surpassing its competitors.
