Monitoring and obtaining the characterization of a dc motor through the development of a data acquisition system in LabView for practices of ISTCT electronics students

This scientific article contains conceptual foundations and statistical analysis of a data acquisition system (DAQ) implemented by means of an Arduino UNO board and the LabView software, which allows to automatically obtain information on the variables that characterize a DC motor such as voltage and speed. The essential electronic components required in the adaptation of the system are described, which is executed using LabVIEW software, one of the most used in measurement and control systems. Additionally, the system uses a Control Plant Trainer (EPC) owned by ISTCT, which in its instructions indicates practical developments and physical characteristics of each element that makes up the EPC. This document details relevant information that assists the user or student for the practical execution of the system (DAQ), in order to understand and determine the operation of a DC motor. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations are deduced from the analysis of the results obtained.
