Abstract

In the present research work, a controlled scene is developed for the digitization of elements of less than 1 cubic meter, on the other hand, an attempt is made to analyze all the lighting parameters presented in an environment using different types of light and backgrounds, which allow reaching a percentage corresponding to the results produced when using a 3D scanner. For digitization, it is recommended to design and manufacture a rotating base that can support objects where the average weight and height of a person is taken as a reference, according to INEC data the values are up to 75 [kg] and a height of 1.70 [m], In addition, a bracket is incorporated that holds the Kinect scanner in place to generate a full dimensional scan while the object rotates around the same axis.

Diego Xavier Bustos Cervantes, Instituto Superior Universitario Central Técnico

Experienced and passionate 3D printing & digital fabrication engineer, with solid knowledge in engineering, innovative, creative, interested in culture and technology. Expert in reverse engineering and prototyping, my motto: "Passion to make it happen."
I started my carrer at an appliance factory, controlling the entire production process from the design to the final product, after that I moved to another city where I used new technology to make prototypes that can turnend into industrial products, in order to learn digital fabrication I travelled to Shenzhen(China). When I improved my carrer as Reverse Enginerring Manager, I spezialiced in the field of 3D printing, CNC and Robotics in Hamburg/Stuttgart (Germany). In the USA, I learned about engraver and cutting machines with laser or bits routers.
