The present investigation, consists on the elaboration of a front prosthesis for dogs up to 15 kilograms, through CAD design (computer-aided design), 3D printing and the implementation of generative design with the use of material available in the country and at low cost, aiming to improve the wellbeing of dogs that are in physical handicap conditions. The manufacturing methodology used refers to the CAD design in the Inventor Professional and Fusion 360 software; and the manufacture in 3D printing with 2 different materials: PETG and TPU, which make the prosthesis functional and safe for the dog. For the final presentation, its effectiveness must be tested, comparing various design proposals and printing characteristics, thus improving the processes related to this prosthesis. For this, a design process is proposed that combines with computational technologies where alternative mechanisms and shapes are presented through generative design to then hierarchically select the most appropriate ones according to the stated requirements.
