The objective of this research is the design and construction of an automotive electronic alert module, with which the temperature of the brake system can be continuously monitored, by measuring the brake discs, to avoid overheating; since at the national level there is a high rate of claims for the aforementioned reason. The objective of the system is to issue an audible and audible alert if the system temperature exceeds 140 ° C, which gives the driver reaction time to take actions relevant to the possible overheating of the brakes, this by processing the data taken by A thermocouple installed in the front brake caliper, said data is processed by an Arduino board programmed to meet the requirements set out, when carrying out the device implementation tests, the temperature was checked in road tests carried out on a Chevrolet Sail S3 model vehicle. which had favorable results, having maximum temperatures of 50.75 ° C on a 34km route with highway and city sections, with a variation of 7.66% with respect to the maximum temperature of another similar test, managing to control the temperatures over the course of a journey and satisfactorily alerting in order to get the driver to take a control strategy proper duction to prevent overheating of the brake system in the vehicle.
